The Story Behind GiaBella Jewels
GiaBella Jewels was inspired by a very special trip to Italy that I took with my mom to celebrate her 70th birthday on the beautiful Amalfi Coast.
Halfway through our trip, we stumbled upon a charming little bracelet shop. I started creating traditional charm bracelets for my daughters back home when I noticed these tiny tiles. Curious, I asked the shop owner about them, and she explained that they were Italian charm bracelets.
I instantly fell in love.
I made bracelets for my girls right there in the shop, spending nearly 30 minutes carefully choosing charms because I was so excited by all the possibilities. The rest of the week, I couldn't stop thinking about them. I was completely captivated by their beauty, meaning, and ability to tell a personal story.
The moment I returned home, I got to work turning that inspiration into a business — and that's how GiaBella Jewels was born.
The name is incredibly special to me. "GiaBella" combines the names of my two daughters, Gia and Ella, and honors Baci, the beloved cat my husband and I adopted when we first started dating. In Italian, Gia Bella translates to "beautiful girl," making it the perfect name for a business built on love, family, and meaningful connections.
